Whilst creating my schedule, I decided that I wanted to get the things that I felt I was the weakest at and enjoy the least out of the way first. Therefore, some of my first tasks include writing and planning my articles, and also researching layouts. I also took into consideration the fact that the design process of my pages would take the longest and therefore allocated the most time for this. I do believe that my schedule is realistic because I have gone away and found out when my deadlines for my other subjects are and then planned the tasks in my schedule around these deadlines. By doing this, I should hopefully not end up with masses of coursework all at the same time. I have also added in some photo shoot contingency time as well as some time for my articles and InDesign projects. The reason that I have done this for my photo shoot is so that if I suffer any problems during my first photo shoot, (for example, model not being available, photos not suitable, ect.), I will have extra time to try again. I have also allocated some extra time for both my articles and InDesign projects just in case the time that I have allocated for these tasks isn’t sufficient.
There are a couple of challenges that I will face in my schedule. The main one will be sticking to my schedule. I will have to make sure that I regularly review my schedule so that I can check to see if I am on target.
