1	7th Jan	1 Schedule Creation: this week I will make sure that I create a realistic schedule to enable me to submit a completed project for the 15th February in accordance with the objectives outlined in my treatment. The schedule will be realistic, detailed and will contain 3 meaningful activities to complete as homework. Homework activities should take up four hours additional study time per week. 2 Schedule Creation: Today I will look at other commitments I have in my other A Levels including scheduled exams – this will enable me to produce a realistic schedule. In order to do this I will need to ask my other subject teachers about deadlines for homework/coursework during the next six weeks. 3 Schedule Creation: I will spend today filling in the dates of my other subject deadlines and exams. I will then create a file structure within my network base for all the different elements of my magazine (e.g fonts, pictures, text, articles, ect.). If I finish doing these tasks, I will begin any additional research needed for my articles. 4 Project Monitoring & Article Planning: I will spend the time that I have left over after project monitoring beginning the plan for the two remaining articles that I have to write. I will review my treatment during this lesson in order to make sure that everything that I have written in it applies to my articles. 2	14th Jan	1 Writing Articles: Today I will begin writing the article for my ‘Customise your Clothes’ DPS. I will begin reviewing the article plans that I made for this article in the previous lesson whilst also reviewing any additional research that I have made. Throughout my article writing, I will make sure that I review my treatment and also my content research so that my article is accurate and can be the made to the best of my ability.   2 Writing Articles: Today I will make the finishing touches to the first drafts of my article and will then wait for it to be analyzed and then edited if and when necessary by my teacher. If my articles are edited during the lesson then I will also review them during the lesson. 3 Writing Articles: At the start of this lesson, I will review my ‘I Just Want to Be Perfect’ article and see if any alterations need to be made. I will then begin the creation of my ‘Say It with Nails’ article. 4 Project Monitoring & Writing Articles: I will spend half of this lesson project monitoring whilst I will spend the other finishing off my ‘Say It with Nails’ article. 3	21stJan	1 Designing: Today I will begin the design process for my ‘I Just Want to Be Perfect’ DPS. I will begin by working out the various dimensions for my pages. Once I have done this, I will move onto creating templates for my pages showing where everything will need to be. I will use InDesign for this. 2 Designing: During this lesson, I will continue designing the pages of my spreads. I will review my already made mock ups and make any necessary alterations 3 Designing: In this lesson, I will hopefully get my ‘I Just Want to Be Perfect’ DPS close to completion. By the end of this lesson, I should have this DPS ready for the images. I will then begin the creation of my ‘Customize Your Clothes’ DPS. This will mean planning where everything is going to go whilst also reviewing my flat plans 4 Project Monitoring & Designing: I will spend half of this lesson doing my project monitoring whilst the other half I will spend continuing on with the design of my ‘Customize Your Clothes’ DPS. This will include adding my previously made header to my design Homework 1: Take photos for ‘Say It with Nails’ DPS Homework2: Edit photos Homework 3: Spend time during frees working on design process Exams/other subject deadlines: N/A
4	28th  Jan	1 Designing: I will spend this lesson perfecting the design that I have been working on and hopefully get it close to completion during this lesson. I will then spend any remaining time left in this lesson 2 Designing: I will begin the design of my ‘Customize Your Clothes’ DPS. I will begin this process by reviewing my flat plans and will then go onto calculate the measurements for my DPS. 3 Designing: I will spend this lesson continuing on with the design of my ‘Customize Your Clothes’ DPS. I will spend this lesson positioning all the various elements of my pages whilst also inserting my images onto my spread. If necessary or not already done, I will also edit my images. 4 Project Monitoring & Designing: I will spend half of this lesson doing project monitoring whilst during the other half, I will continue designing my spread. 5	4th Feb	1 Feedback: 2 Designing:  I spend this lesson beginning the creation of my Front cover. I will create this product using Photoshop. I will begin this process by reviewing my flat plans for this page. I will then begin editing the imagery that I took for this page. I will then begin to plan out where the various components for this page belong. 3 Designing: I will spend this lesson continuing on with my front cover design. Hopefully towards  the end of this lesson I should get this design near to completion 4 Project Monitoring & Contents Page Design:  I will spend half of this lesson project monitoring and the other half I will spend beginning the creation of my contents page. I will begin this process by reviewing my flat plans and then mapping out where everything needs to go Homework 1: Complete front cover if time allocated isn’t sufficient Homework 2: Spend time editing imagery Homework 3: Photo shoot contingency time Exams/other subject deadlines:
6	11th Feb	1 Contents Page Design:  I will spend this lesson completing the creation of my contents page. 2 Designing: I will spend this lesson creating my ‘Say It with Nails’ DPS. I will begin this process by reviewing my flat plans and then working out the page measurements. I will then go on to plan my  pages whilst also choosing a background 3 Designing: I will spend this lesson continuing on with the production of my ‘Say It with Nails’ DPS. During this lesson, I will add the imagery into my DPS and also begin to add my text 4 Project Monitoring & Designing: I will spend half of this lesson project monitoring and the other half I will spend finishing off my ‘Say It with Nails’ DPS.
