What could go wrong during production
How are you going to avoid this issue? What’s your back up plan?
Models unable for photo shoot
Call the models up the night before to double check that they’re available, make sure that they understand the brief, and have back up models in place.
Unable to use work that has been created at home due to the fact that the software is different (InDesign, Photoshop ect.)
Instead of doing work at home that requires software that is at college, spend free periods doing the work and making the most of the college facilities. Either that or if using a different version of InDesign at home, save documents as EPS files.
Props needed for photo shoot have gone missing
Make sure that back up props are available.
Losing all your documents/computer crashing
Save work every time it is altered, keep a number of backups, and save different versions of the document.
Models turning up in the wrong costumes
Make sure that backups are available or see if what they are wearing can be altered slightly to fit what is needed for the shoot.
Photos taken are un-usable (Under/over exposed, not suitable poses ect.)
Create a backup plan; take time when taking the pictures, and take advantage of the help given.
Equipment is broken
Make sure replacements are available.
Memory stick has gone missing
Back up files onto more than one computer, and send documents via e-mail.
Running out of post production time and not having the software needed at home
Spend free periods finishing post production work so that everything is up to date and of a good quality.
Cameras running out of batteries
Make sure that spare batteries are available.
